Imvelogy is a hybrid nature/culture series that highlights the importance of indigenous knowledge in conservation. The title of the show is a fusion of "IMVELO" (Zulu word for nature) and "OLOGY" (the science of), which suggests that it is about the science of nature, experienced from a cultural and indigenous knowledge perspective.
